THE KING RICHARD III RESTAURANT is a traditional establishment on the seafront in Scarborough with a menu inspired by classic pub food.  At The King Richard III we have ample space within our Grade I listed building for you to drink or dine with us. Alternatively we have an outside seating area perfectly positioned with a view of the harbour, making it a great spot to sit back, relax and enjoy a drink.

Our journey started in the year 2005, we developed a unique, historical and classical interior building from the 1400, during the reign of King Richard III who had stayed over.

Did you know?

  • We are family friendly with plenty of high chairs and space for pushchairs.

  • We take our name from THE King Richard III! It has long been believed Richard III stayed in this very building whilst on naval business in Scarborough back in the 1400s!

  • We have a dog friendly area in the bar in addition to our outside seating area.
